Adam Thurgood is a Design Engineer at DSL, who’s hard work and determination has seen him progress within the company from despatch, to RMA testing, and all the way through to engineering.
He is responsible for the design and creation of schematics and printed circuit boards (PCBs) which fulfil our customers’ specific needs.
With a HNC (Higher National Certificate) In Electrical and Electronic Engineering, Adam is an electronic engineering project specialist.
Adam says: “This is a great industry to be working in, especially with the pace of innovation and the speed in which things develop. I’m continually involved in new and inventive designs and bringing new ideas to market”.
“I joined DSL in 2011 and have worked in various teams which has given me a great understanding of what customers need, why they need it and when they need it”.
“I enjoy the variation of the different types of project that I get to work on, every day is different, and I get a particular sense of accomplishment when I find a solution to a troublesome problem.”
In his spare time, Adam enjoys learning new skills and taking part in new experiences such as cycling and escape rooms, as well as PC gaming.
