And whether you are looking for a tailored PCB design or a completely customised, fully-integrated system, one of the key people at DSL who will help you to achieve success is our Design Manager, Kevin Kilford.
Kevin, a specialist in hardware and software embedded electronic design, is IPC and CID+ (Advanced Certified Interconnect Designer) qualified. He joined DSL back in 1999, and has worked in various roles from configuration & support and field service engineer, to internal IT selection and electronic design engineer.
Kevin says: “My focus is on creating a robust, understandable and efficient design management process that works for DSL and our clients”.

Kevin adds that the challenges and solutions within the industry are so wide ranging that no two days, or designs, are the same: “It’s the diversity of designs that makes my job so varied and enjoyable. And one of the most rewarding elements of my role is when we not only meet our customers’ design expectations, but exceed them”.
In his spare time, Kevin likes to get lost in a good book, particularly thrillers and popular science books. And, as you would expect from an expert in electronic product design, he also follows tech trends and keeps up-to-speed with the latest innovations.
